Health And HygieneCampaign For Students

In the footsteps of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement), volunteers of the CSR team of Pune Development Center, Sparsh – A Healing Touch, launched Swachh Maan Campaign. This campaign was launched to educate students of Maan School, on health and hygiene. The program was designed not only to create awareness of problems resulting from poor hygiene but also how to remedy them.

The program touched upon different types of diseases spread by insects such as cockroaches, houseflies, and mosquitoes, and remedies to prevent these were demonstrated
The program highlighted basic hygiene to be followed every day, such as brushing teeth, bathing, using a handkerchief, soap, cleaning hands before eating food, etc.
The awareness also dwelt on how to keep the home, kitchen, toilet, and school clean using disinfectants

Students were advised to keep their clothes clean and tidy and use properly washed tiffin boxes.
