Reboot Campaign For Cyclone Victims

Cyclone Ockhi that hit Southern India in November 2017 destroyed property and left several fishermen missing at sea. As part of relief and rehabilitation efforts, Sanjeevani, the employee-driven CSR wing of Trivandrum Development Centre, along with employees of various companies at Technopark, an IT Park in Trivandrum, arranged funds to distribute food to affected families.

Additionally, Volunteers visited Poonthura, a coastal village in Trivandrum, Kerala, and spent time with families who had lost dear ones and belongings. After consulting with Municipal Corporation officials of the areas, volunteers learned that groceries would be much appreciated by the affected families. Sanjeevani, along with volunteers from the Technopark launched #Reboot Campaign. As part of this campaign, mailers were sent to Infoscions to donate rice and other groceries. The response from Infoscions was overwhelming. 161 kilograms of rice and INR 25,000 was collected in just three days.

Volunteers visited Poonthura in December and distributed groceries to around 500 families.
