In China, 1st June is celebrated as Children's Day. To commemorate the day, Infosys China BPHR planned a celebration for the children of Infosys employees. The theme for the celebration was ‘Giving is more important than receiving’. The China BPHR team along with Spring - the Infosys China CSR-wing came up with an innovative plan to involve children in donating to charity through their parents, and they proceeds would go to CSR activity.
The celebrations consisted of fun-filled activities across Infosys China Development Centre’s that lasted a whole week. Funds were collected and handed over to Spring. The initiative was well appreciated and supported by China leadership, and China employees actively participated in the initiative.
