Abhijit has over 32 years of diverse experience in development finance, commercial banking, NBFC lending, microfinance, and investment banking.

He started his career as Probationary Officer in State Bank of India in 1993. Post that, he worked in Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) where he collaborated with the management to promote, finance, and develop the Micro Finance Sector in India.

He co-founded Unitus Capital (UC) in 2008 and led it to become India’s No 1 Investment Bank. He played a key role in developing and building UC’s business, particularly in the area of financial inclusion. UC has raised more than Rs.36,000 crore of capital for impactful businesses in India over the last 17 years.

He also co-founded UC Inclusive Credit (UCIC), an impact-focused NBFC to provide debt funding to start-ups and early-stage companies in the impact space. UCIC has already provided debt funding of over Rs.3,650 crores to over 365 early-stage companies in the last 7 years.

In 2024, Alina received the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities from the President of India. She is also a Commonwealth Youth Awardee and has received the Niti Ayog-Women Transforming India Award, Helen Keller Award, and United Nations Intercultural Innovation Award.

She has also received the Times of India-She Unlimited Award, Rotary Exemplar Award, and Tiecon Young Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award, amongst others.

Sunil is responsible for Global Taxation, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, and also heads Infrastructure, Facilities, and Physical Security. He serves as the Global CFO for the Consulting, BPM, Products, and Platform businesses. Sunil is also a Trustee of the Infosys Foundation.

He has been with Infosys for about 16 years and earlier worked with 21st Century FOX in Hong Kong. Over his career, he has been recognized with the Stars of the Industry Award for Best Automation in Finance, the Best In-house Tax Director in Asia Award by International Tax Review (a Euromoney publication) in 2021, and the CFO Next 100 Award by CFO India.

Sunil is an active speaker at national and international forums, serves on the editorial panel of International Tax Review, and chairs the Direct Tax Committee of the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce. A Chartered Accountant and rank holder from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, he also trained at the National Defence Academy in India.
