Akanksha, the CSR arm of Infosys Bhubaneswar Development Center (DC), in collaboration with the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), a Government of India Institute, has conducted free residential, technical skill development training for 240 students for the second consecutive year at the CIPET campus II in Bhubaneswar.

Infosys Foundation supports Narayana Health to launch an Institute of Robotic Surgery

Supported by Infosys Foundation, Narayana Health has launched an Institute of Robotic Surgery at its flagship unit at Narayana Health City, Bengaluru. The Foundation has donated the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System which will be used primarily for prostate, kidney, gynecological, colorectal and select head and neck cancer surgeries.

Infosys Foundation Builds Houses to Rehabilitate Communities Affected by Cyclone Hudhud that Struck Andhra Pradesh in 2014

HudHud, a very severe tropical cyclonic storm, wreaked havoc when it made landfall in Vishakhapatnam coast, and left a trail of devastation in its wake in Eastern India. Among the many towns and villages impacted, Pudimadaka in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh State - a coastal village where the residents are mostly fisher-folk - was among the worst hit. Several families in this area lost their homes to the cyclone and have been in need of rehabilitation.

Infosys Launches its Household Biogas Digester Project in Ramanagara District, Karnataka

Infosys has launched a household biogas project in Ramanagara district in Karnataka. Under the project, Infosys will build 7,620 household biogas units and provide an equal number of biogas stoves to as many families in the district. Infosys will spend nearly 22 Crores on the project.
