Infosys Foundation, in partnership with SAHE, restored historic stepwells in Telangana, including those at Rashtrapati Nilayam and Lingampet. The project introduced rainwater harvesting across 75 acres, revived traditional water-lifting systems, and now supports over 83,000 people, preserving heritage while promoting sustainable water use.

Turning dry beds into living ecosystems

Infosys Foundation rejuvenated five lakes over 197 acres near Electronic City, restoring ecosystems through desilting, afforestation with over 1,600 trees, and the creation of wellness spaces. Now supporting irrigation, borewell recharge, and local communities, the project is part of a 10-billion-liter water program targeting 1,00,000 people annually by FY28.

Infosys Foundation partnered with BMRCL to construct the LEED certified Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara Metro Station in Bengaluru. With solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly landscaping, the 2,00,000 sq. ft. station supports sustainable transit for thousands in the city’s IT hub.
