Infosys Foundation USA was established in 2015 with the mission of expanding computer science and maker education to K-12+ students and educators across the United States, with a specific focus on increasing access to digital skills within underrepresented communities. The Foundation achieves impact through delivering professional development programs for teachers, partnering with leading nonprofits, and delivering innovative media campaigns that inspire everyone to be creators, not just consumers, of technology.
Supporting a variety of innovative computer science and maker education initiatives to benefit K-12 students and teachers across the U.S.
Infosys Foundation USA is proud to support K-12 teachers through our Pathfinders Institute. These 'Teacher Transformation' videos highlight two inspiring K12 educators who were interviewed before and after participating in the Pathfinders Summer Institute immersive CS and Maker Ed professional development experience. We are pleased to introduce Tamieka Grizzle, the STEM and Innovation Specialist at Mableton Elementary School in Georgia, and Tory Wadlington, a Special Education Teacher at the Murrieta Valley Unified School District in California.
