Volunteering & Community Impact

The mission of the Foundation is amplified by various in-person and virtual programs that leverage the professional insights of volunteers to support increased exposure of students to emerging technologies of the 21st century.

CSR Champions Program

The Foundation leads a nationwide leadership program across Infosys and its subsidiaries that designates volunteers as ‘CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Champions’ to achieve community impact at a local level. CSR Champions conduct volunteer outreach and recruitment among various Infosys employee groups and act as ambassadors for the Foundation.

National Volunteer Week

Annually, the Foundation supports National Volunteer Week, a nationwide call to action to recognize the impact of volunteer service. We identify volunteer opportunities at local level across all Infosys and subsidiary offices to achieve community impact. Please see 2024 highlights here: bit.ly/NVWBlog2024

Boys and Girls Clubs

Building upon our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Hartford, the Foundation has expanded its engagement with Boys and Girls clubs near Infosys offices in Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle, and Harlem to deliver career tech talks, hands-on STEAM workshops, and various programs to expose students to computer science, digital skilling and maker education.

Kode With Klossy Computing Camps

In partnership with Kode With Klossy, the Foundation hosts annual computer camps connecting Infosys mentors with female and gender nonconforming students for two weeks. We’ve hosted these camps at our offices in Raleigh, NC, Richardson, TX and Providence, RI.

Mark Cuban AI Bootcamps

Over three consecutive weekends, the Foundation proudly sponsored a series of Mark Cuban Foundation-led “AI Bootcamps” in three cities, reaching over 75 students in:

  • New York, NY: One World Trade Center
  • Richardson, TX: Infosys Ltd.
  • Raleigh, NC: Infosys Technology and Innovation Hub

Eager, excited – and brilliant students – engaged in AI and Machine Learning alongside dedicated Infosys mentors who worked tirelessly three weekends in a row to nurture and inspire rooms of high school students absorb:

  • AI fundamentals and real-world applications
  • Industry insights from guest speakers
  • Hands-on experiences with cutting-edge AI tools
  • Potential career opportunities

Student enthusiasm, creativity and fearless leaning-in to complex AI topics was inspiring. On the final day of the AI Bootcamp, students presented their capstone projects to an audience of peers and mentors. Highlights included: a mirror powered by AI that promotes body positivity and good health practices; a pocket-sized basketball coach that provides custom tailored lessons; an improvement to self-driving cars and much, much more.
