CrossRoads
From May 7 – 9, 2025, Infosys Foundation USA hosted the sixth iteration of CrossRoads, the Foundation's flagship thought leadership conference, at the Infosys Technology and Innovation Center in Indianapolis. The event gathered over 200 educators, policymakers, technologists and changemakers that are dedicated to advancing equitable access to digital learning and workforce readiness. In honor of the Foundation’s 10 year anniversary, this year’s theme was, 'Celebrating 10 Years on the CS Fast Track: Racing into the Age of AI'.
Staying true to its theme, CrossRoads 2025 kicked off at Dallara IndyCar Factory with an inspirational keynote address from Katelyn Fair, Race Engineer at Chip Ganassi Racing followed by presentation of race cars designed and built by local high and middle school students. Another highlight of the conference was the keynote address on Day 2, which featured an engaging conversation between Anatola Araba, the Founder of Reimagine Story Lab, and Sophia, the Humanoid Robot from Hanson Robotics where they discussed the future of education in the age of AI.
Many notable speakers delivered 'Spark Talks' on the future of AI, CS, and Education. Additionally, there were several critical discussions on topics related to "Transformational Tools, Technologies, and Frameworks", "Designing for Inclusive Digital Accessibility and Innovation," and "Cultivating an AI-Ready Workforce." The day concluded with a gala celebrating the Foundation’s 10 years of impact.
The final day of CrossRoads featured an interactive hands-on workshop titled, "Classroom to Career: Future-Ready Learning with an AI Workshop" hosted by our partners at CodeJoy with support from Infosys ETA representatives. This was an opportunity for attendees to reimagine the modern classroom and its role in preparing the future workforce.
It was an extremely stimulating and inspiring experience for all those attended. This is a developing story. Watch this space in the coming weeks for recaps, photos and videos from the event. Follow us on social media to stay updated!
