By investing in art and culture, destitute care, and disaster relief, we address immediate community needs while safeguarding the social and cultural fabric for future generations.

India’s diverse artistic traditions carry forward centuries of identity, wisdom, and resilience. At Infosys Foundation, we are committed to preserving and promoting these cultural legacies by supporting artists, restoring heritage sites, and enabling regional expression. In many of our initiatives, we spotlight women practitioners, reviving forgotten crafts, nurturing talent, and providing platforms where women artists can share their voices and shape the future of India’s creative economy.

Kala Dhwani is an initiative by Infosys Foundation, in partnership with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, designed to bring India’s folk and tribal traditions closer to urban audiences. It creates a shared space where art, culture, and community come together through performances, crafts, workshops, and regional experiences. Across two editions, Kala Dhwani has brought together artists and traditions from 10 states across the country.

Infosys Foundation partnered with the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bengaluru, as a founding patron to transform how audiences experience art. The support covers both physical infrastructure and digital innovation including holographic projectors, an interactive platform, and the open-access MAP Academy Encyclopedia of Art. The initiative is expected to reach nearly 3 lakh digital visitors over three years, making South Asian art more accessible and future-ready.

Destitute Care Destitute Care

Dignity and compassion lie at the heart of our work in supporting vulnerable communities. Through partnerships with care homes, rehabilitation centers, and grassroots organizations, Infosys Foundation offers holistic support to destitute individuals, particularly women who have survived abandonment, abuse, or disability. Each initiative focuses not only on shelter and recovery but also on empowering women with the tools to reclaim their independence and self-worth.

Since 2016, Infosys Foundation has partnered with the Indian Army’s Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV) to support the families of non-combat casualties. Through grants for education, IT literacy, health, and skilling, the Foundation has reached over 9,000 family members to date. In FY 2023, it launched a dedicated three-year program offering scholarships and digital literacy support, benefiting 3,928 individuals so far. With a vision to reach 14,000+ survivors, the initiative is focused on helping widows and children of fallen soldiers rebuild their lives with dignity, education, and financial independence.

Infosys Foundation partnered with Seva Trust for the Blind to enhance access to education and skill development for underprivileged children with visual disabilities. The Foundation supported the Trust with infrastructure upgrades, accessible hostels, and voiceover-enabled, screen reader-compatible computers to help students learn and work independently.

Destitute Care Destitute Care

In times of crisis, timely relief and long-term support can rebuild lives. Infosys Foundation partners with local organizations to deliver food, shelter, and medical aid to communities affected by natural calamities and displacement. Special care is taken to meet the unique needs of women and children, ensuring access to hygiene products, maternal care, and safe spaces, while helping women restore livelihoods and lead community recovery efforts.

In response to the severe floods in Belagavi, Karnataka in 2024, Infosys Foundation, in partnership with Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Pavagada, provided timely relief to affected families. Over 3,000 families received essential relief kits containing food grains, basic supplies, and hygiene items to support immediate needs. With active participation from Infosys volunteers, efforts ensured last-mile distribution across remote and cut-off villages, helping communities navigate a period of sudden displacement and loss.

In response to widespread flooding across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Infosys Foundation, in collaboration with Nirmaan, United Way of Hyderabad, and Ramakrishna Math, provided critical support to affected communities. Relief kits were distributed to over 22,000 beneficiaries across impacted districts, addressing urgent needs during the crisis.
